Kevin Ryan will begin his first season as the Head Men’s Basketball Coach in the Fall of 2012. A resident of Scotch Plains, NJ, Ryan is a 2 year varsity letter winner at St. Peter’s Prep in Jersey City, NJ. Prior to attending St. Peter’s Prep, he was a 2 year varsity letter winner at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA. Upon graduating from High School, Ryan was recruited to play at NCAA Division III Hartwick College in Pennsylvania where he started every game as a freshman. In his sophomore season he transferred to Catholic University where he finished his academic career and remained active in the basketball world.
Ryan began his coaching career in 2008 working with Team Freckles AAU. He has served as the Assistant Coach for the 17U team since and as well as the Head Coach for the 15U team since 2011. Working with over 10 NCAA Division I players, Ryan also has served as the Head Varsity Girls Coach in the Mount St. Mary’s Academy Fall League.
Currently, Ryan works as a Financial Advisor for ING Financial Partners and resides in Scotch Plains, NJ.
