With September 1st right around the corner, it’s just about time to button up the 2023 HoopDirt.com College Basketball Coaching Changes Tracker. Here’s a look at all of the changes by the numbers – they are very similar to last year across all levels, and close to 2021 as well (with the exception of a few post-covid blips):
- D1 changes: 61 (63 in 2022 / 61 in 2021)
- D2 changes : 38 (38 in 2022 / 19 in 2021)
- D3 changes: 41 (43 in 2022 / 39 in 2021)
- NAIA changes: 25 (25 in 2022 / 16 in 2021)
- JUCO changes: 53 (62 in 2022 / 42 in 2021)
