Regan added as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Lackawanna College

Dan Regan has joined the Lackawanna College men’s basketball staff as an Assistant Coach under Coach Brian Coyle. For the past four years, Dan Regan has worked under Head Coach Damien Blair at West Chester University and two years at Bryn Athyn College under Coach Justin Baxter.

At West Chester, he helped in all aspects of the program including recruiting, skill development and academic support. During the 2017-2018 season, Regan helped lead the Golden Rams to a 22-7 season and a bid in the NCAA Division II Tournament. West Chester claimed their first ever NCAA tournament win over Wheeling Jesuit.

Prior to West Chester, Dan was an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Bryn Athyn College. Dan helped lead the Lions in their Inaugural season to the school’s first 11 wins in program history. Coach Regan helped recruit the college’s first three 1,000 point scorers in school history. During his stint at Bryn Athyn, Dan also coached AAU in the summer for the Northeast Sting.

In the off-season, Regan works for one of the largest exposure camps on the east coast, Hoop Group Basketball Camps. Dan has performed many roles for Hoop Group such as Site Director for multiple tournaments and worked all the Top 100 exposure camps throughout the east coast.

Regan is a native of Philadelphia and went to Father Judge High school where he played basketball, baseball, ran track and cross-country. After High school, he attended Cabrini College for two years and finished his college degree at West Chester University where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Professional Studies.
