According to a report from according to a report from Liv Antilla, Bobby Collins has resigned as the head basketball coach at D2 Shaw University.

Collins, a coaching veteran, had been at Shaw since 2020 (65-67 -.492). He led his squad to a 16-10 (7-9 CIAA record this past season. Collins has also served as the head coach at the D1 level at both Hampton and UMES, and also spent eight seasons as the head coach at D2 Winston-Salem State.

Collins is the second CIAA coach to resign in this week, as Bowie State’s Darrell Brooks has also stepped away.
