According to a Jon Rothstein report, Campbell intends to hire Anderson University’s Jimmie Williams as their new head basketball coach.

Williams has gone 69-49 (.585) in his four seasons at D2 Anderson. This season his team won the SAC Championship and finished with a 29-3 (20-2) record.

Prior to his time at Anderson, Williams served as an assistant at Furman.
