REPORT: Chicago State’s Gillion resigns; Set to become Associate Head Coach at LIU

According to a Jeff Goodman report, Chicago State head coach Gerald Gillion is on the move and will become the associate head coach at Long Island University.

The job posting for the position lists the salary at $250,000-$260,000 – which is absolutely wild for the NEC. Coincidently, CSU is headed to the NEC next year where they will join LIU.

Gillion has gone 31-64 (.326) in his three seasons at Chicago State. This past season, his squad went 13-19, and won a first round game in the CBI post-season tournament.

More on this move once it becomes official.
