According to a report by Gary Parrish, Darrin Horn will be hired as the new head basketball coach at Northern Kentucky.

Horn, the former head coach at South Carolina (2008-12) and Western Kentucky (2003-08), has been an assistant at Texas since 2015. In his nine seasons as a head coach, he compiled a 171-112 record, with his best season coming in 2007-08 when he led WKU to the Sweet 16 (29-7).
