According to a report today from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, former Marquette head coach Steve Wojciechowski will be named as the new head coach of the G-League’s Salt Lake City Stars (Utah Jazz Affiliate).

Wojciechowski was the head coach at Marquette from 2014-21, where he went 128–95 (.574), and made two NCAA tournament appearences. The former standout at Duke had spent the previous 15-seasons as an assistant on Mike Krzyzewski’s staff at his alma mater before taking over at MU.

According to the report, “Wojciehowski had spent time around the Jazz organization over the past two years, especially in the 2021-22 season because of his longtime relationship with former Jazz coach Quin Snyder. Wojciechowski spent time this past season attending some Jazz practices and building a relationship with coach Will Hardy.”
