According to an ESPN report, Indiana head basketball coach Mike Woodson is not expected to return next season.
According to the report, “Woodson, 66, is expected to coach the rest of the year, sources said, but he and the Hoosiers are in discussions about the coach’s wishes to step away after this season. The details of the exit are being discussed.”
Indiana is currently 14-9 (5-7 Big Ten) and riding a four game losing streak. The Hoosiers are on track to miss the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season. Woodson, an Indiana alum, is currently 77-49 (.611) during his nearly four seasons as the head coach in Bloomington.
