According to multiple reports, Kentucky is “zeroing in” on BYU head coach Mark Pope as John Calipari’s replacement. Pope is a 1996 Kentucky alum who played for four NBA teams following his graduation. He has spent the past five seasons at BYU where he has gone 110-52 (.679) including a 23-11 (10-8) mark this past year. Pope also spent four seasons as the head coach at Utah Valley (77-56), and worked as an assistant at Georgia, Wake Forest, and BYU.
