According to a Tweet by Mike Jensen of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Lafayette head men’s basketball coach Mike Jordan has been placed on paid leave by the college.

Jordan took over for long-time head coach Fran O’Hanlon back in March 2022. His team is currently 9-20 (7-9 Patriot League).

McGarvey, the associate head coach, had spent the previous four seasons as the head coach at D3 Lycoming College before joining Jordan last spring.
