According to a Jon Rothstein report, Little Rock has parted ways with head basketball coach Darrell Walker.
Walker had spent the past eight seasons as the Trojans head coach, going 113-133 (.459) over that span. His squad finished this season with a 12-20 (9-11 OVC) record, and were knocked out of the league tourney by Lindenwood on Wednesday night.
Walker, who played in the NBA for ten years, had been the head coach at D2 Clark Atlanta (45-18) for two seasons before being hired at Little Rock. He also served as the head coach of the NBA’s Toronto Raptors (1996-98) and Washington Wizards (2000), and for the WNBA’s Washington Mystics (2000).
More on this one once and official release is issued.
