According to a Jon Rothstein report, Long Beach State is finalizing a deal with San Diego State assistant Chris Acker to become their new head basketball coach. Acker has been at SDSU for the past five seasons, and has also been an assistant at Boise State and Hawai’i. He also spent time as the head coach at West Los Angeles College and as the head coach at Citrus College. More on this one once it becomes official.
