According to a report by the Indianapolis Star, Maurice Joseph will be hired as an assistant coach at Butler. He would replace David Ragland who became the head coach at Evansville a few weeks ago.

Joseph, who was the head coach at George Washington from 2016-19, has had one-year stints as an assistant over the past three seasons at FDU, George Mason, and most recently Richmond. He was also reportedly in the mix for an assistant spot at Michigan State.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
