According to a Tweet by Chicago’s City/Suburban Hoops Report’s Joe Henrickson, Loyola Chicago’s Porter Moser will become the next head coach at Oklahoma. His sources have confirmed that the deal is being finalized.
Moser has spent the past ten seasons at Loyola, leading the Ramblers to the Final Four back in 2018. This past season, He led his squad to 26-5 record, and a Sweet 16 appearance. Moser has also been the head coach at Arkansas State and Illinois State, and owns a career record of 293-242 (.548).
He would replace Lon Kruger, who retired at the end of March.
