According to a report by John Canzano of the Oregonian/OregonLive, Terry Porter will remain as the head basketball coach at the University of Portland.

In a statement released to the Oregonian, Portland AD Scott Leykam said, “Terry Porter is our men’s basketball head coach. We will continue to work with Terry and his staff to support them in every way possible.”

In his four seasons as the head coach at Portland, Porter has put together a 37-92 (.287) record, including a 9-23 (1-15 WCC) mark this past year. During Porter’s tenure, Portland has gone 7-61 in WCC play, with a 1-31 conference record over the past two seasons.

Porter has one season remaining on his current contract.
