According to an early morning tweet from Adam Zagoria, Quinnipiac head coach Baker Dunleavy is set to resign in order to accept a fundraising position at Villanova.
Dunleavy signed a 5-year contract extension back in 2018 that was set to expire this spring.
Dunleavy had spent the past six seasons at QU, where he has gone 86-93 (.480), including a 20-12 (11-9 MAAC) record this past season. Prior to being hired at Quinnipiac, Dunleavy spent 7-years on Jay Wright’s staff at Villanova, and was part of the team that won the 2016 National Championship.
More on this when it becomes official.
