According to multiple reports, including one from Jeff Goodman, Arizona State will hire Randy Bennett as their next head basketball coach.

The coaching veteran has spent the past 25-seasons as the head coach at St. Mary’s (CA) leading them to a 589-228 (.721) record during his tenure. This season, he led the Gaels to a 27-6 (16-2 WCC) record.

Bennett, an Arizona native, has won 4 WCC tournament championships, and been named conference coach of the year seven times.
