According to multiple reports, including one from Jon Rothstein, Eastern Michigan has parted ways with head coach Rob Murphy.

Murphy had been the head coach at EMU for the past ten seasons where he went 166-155 (.517). His squad went 6-12 (3-11 MAC) in the COVID shortened 2020-21 season.

Before being hired as the head coach back in 2011, Murphy had spent seven seasons on Jim Boeheim’s staff at Syracuse.
