According to a recently published ESPN report, Stanford will hire UAB head coach Jerod Haase to replace Johnny Dawkins.  HoopDirt.com mentioned Haase as the “hot” name at Stanford yesterday (Daily Dirt II – 3/24/16).

Haase just wrapped up his fourth season at UAB with a 26-7 (16-2) record and a NIT appearance.  During his time at the school, he has amassed an 81-53 record, and his win total has increased every season (16, 18, 20, 27).

The former Kansas Jayhawk player spent 13-seasons working for Roy Williams at Both Kansas and North Carolina before becoming the head coach at UAB.
