REPORT: Syracuse will bring Autry back next season

According to a CNY Central report, Syracuse head basketball coach Adrian Autry will return next season. The report states that SU AD John Wildhack went on local radio yesterday and said the following:

“Adrian will be back next year,” Wildhack said during a local radio appearance on ESPN101 Radio in Syracuse. “But that comes with expectations.”

The Orange are currently 6-13 in the ACC (15th place) and just 12-18 overall. Last season, Autry’s first after taking over for Jim Boeheim, he led his alma mater to a 20-12 (11-9 ACC) mark.

Top 100 recruits Sadiq White (IMG Academy) and Kiyan Anthony (Long Island Lutheran) are headed to Syracuse next season, and will be a big part of the rebuild. Anthony is the son of former Orange standout and NBA great Carmelo Anthony.
