Jerome Tang is expected to rejoin Scott Drew’s staff at Baylor as the associate head basketball coach, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Tang was a central figure in Baylor’s rise over nearly 20 seasons on staff, including its 2021 national title run. He left for the head job at Kansas State in 2022 and quickly made an impact, guiding the Wildcats to an Elite Eight in year one.

His tenure at Kansas State ended earlier this winter, when he was dismissed for cause before the conclusion of the 2025–26 season.
