According to a report just published by ESPN, Thad Matta has turned down an offer by Georgia to become their next head basketball coach. Matta was reportedly offered the job yesterday, and given 24 hours to make his decision. It sounds like he rejected a deal that would have paid him in the $15mm range over five years.
