According to multiple reports, Fresno State will hire veteran coach Vance Walberg to lead the Bulldogs men’s basketball program. Most recently, Walberg has been the head coach at Clovis West HS (CA), but has had a long career as an NBA assistant and college coach. He served as the head coach at Pepperdine (2006-08) and spent 2012-16 as an NBA assistant with three different teams. More on this move once it becomes official.
