Richard Pitino signed a 6 year deal with FIU, his base salary will be 250K. Pitino would be entitled to up to another $40,000 annually based on academic performance by the team, as well as $10,000 bonuses for leading FIU to the NCAA tournament; winning conference coach of the year; winning regular-season league championships; and each NCAA tournament victory. He would also get $100,000 for a Final Four appearance and $250,000 for winning the national championship.
