Rob Blouin has been named Head Men’s Basketball Coach at Fisher College. He replaces former Head Coach David Lindberg who stepped down this past spring after his 12-years at the helm.
Coach Blouin just finished his sixth year on Lindberg’s staff, and third as the Associate Head Coach. Coach Blouin has been heavily involved in the strength and conditioning program as well as in recruiting during the off season. During the past four off seasons, Blouin has traveled throughout the East Coast, including trips to Florida, Virginia, NY, NY and California. Blouin has taken part in the Scouts Focus Basketball Camp at the University of Virginia, which targets the top high school basketball recruits in the country as well as worked camps throughout New England. For ten days during August 2013, Coach Blouin travelled to San Jose, Costa Rica to coach a group of college basketball players from all around the country. He conducted team work outs and coaching exhibitions against professional teams throughout Costa Rica. Blouin has aided in on the floor game preparation, film exchange and future opponent scouting.
He graduated Westfield State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Movement Science Sport and Leisure Studies with a concentration in Physical Education. Blouin is currently a Resident Director on Fisher Colleges campus.
