Rodney Watson takes over at Southern Indiana

DI assistant Rodney Watson has taken over at the University of Southern Indiana. He had been an assistant at Southern Illinois for the past 21 seasons – serving under Bruce Weber, Matt Painter, and most recently Chris Lowrey. During Watson’s time at SIU, the Salukis won 11 Missouri Valley Conference championships, made nine NCAA Tournament appearances, and went to the NIT 5 times. The Salukis compiled a 430-238 record during Watson’s tenure.
