I’ve just heard from a reliable source that Emporia State head coach David Moe will resign today. Moe, who is the son of former NBA head coach Doug Moe, has gone 162-126 in his 10 seasons at ESU. It sounds like an official announcement will be made at 2:0pm today.

The reason for the resignation is that Moe’s wife Cristi, sons Barry and Tommy and daughter Lyndie have been living in Delaware for the past three years. Moe plans to remain in the coaching profession, but will relocate closer to his family.
