I can confirm through multiple sources that David Grace has moved on from his role as the associate head coach on Jerry Stackhouse’s staff at Vanderbilt. Grace, widely recognized as one of the best recruiters in college basketball, had spent just one season at Vandy.
Before his time in Nashville, Grace had a long tenure as an assistant in the PAC-12 at Cal (2018-19), UCLA (2013-18), and Oregon State (2008-13). He also spent for 20 years in the Air Force, seeing combat action in Operation Desert Storm. During his military career, Grace coached with Boo Williams’ AAU program and later helped co-found the Compton Magic AAU program.
An official announcement is expected shortly.
