See Named Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach at Carroll College

The Carroll College Fighting Saints men’s basketball team added Ronn See as its newest assistant coach.

“We are beyond excited to add Ronn See as our lead assistant coach for Carroll Men’s Basketball,” Saints coach Kurt Paulson said. “Ronn brings a wealth of knowledge to our program in the areas of recruiting Southern California and strength and conditioning. He will take our players to a new level athletically once he gets a full season with them in the weight room. He was a tremendous college player and will be able coach our players using what he learned in his playing experience. Our program got better today with the addition of Coach See.”

See comes to Carroll College after working for Open Gym Premier in Anaheim, California, running elite high school basketball circuits across the west coast. He served as the Director of the Elite Basketball Circuit. His time with OGP further developed a deep connection to the California basketball scene.

His time with the basketball circuit in California also put him in contact with current Saints Gaven Ramirez and Dennis Flowers III while the two prepped in high school. Ramirez played for See, while Flowers III trained with one of See’s colleagues.

“I am excited to be part of this not only storied basketball program, but Carroll College as a whole,” See said. “I have known Coach Paulson for over seven years and I can’t wait to finally learn underneath him. I can’t wait to get in the gym with the guys and build on the foundation that is already in place.

Prior to his time with Open Gym Premier, See served as an assistant coach for Caltech from 2014-16.

See is a Palm Springs,  California, native. He played college basketball for the University of La Verne, becoming a first team all-conference selection in 2014. See obtained a degree in kinesiology in 2015.
