Matthew Shonder has been named the new head men’s basketball coach at Vermilion Community College.

Shonder was most recently an assistant at Andrew College (GA) and has previously held positions at Reinhardt University, the University of St. Francis, and Morton College.

He takes over following the departure of Dawson Dickson, who resigned after two seasons to become the head coach at Great Bay Community College (NH).
