Shoreline Community College has announced Aaron Mackey as the program’s new head basketball coach. “Coach Mackey brings a wealth of basketball knowledge to Shoreline, and we are excited about the future of our men’s basketball program under his direction,” said Shoreline Athletic Director Steve Eskridge.

Mackey is not an unfamiliar face to Shoreline Community College. Coach Mackey played for the Men’s Basketball program 1994-95 and was an assistant coach at Shoreline Community College in 1999-2002 and again in 2006-07. He was primarily responsible for individual workouts, recruiting, scouting and working with the guards.

In addition to Coach Mackey’s college experience he has also coach 4 years at the high school level and over 10 years for select and AAU basketball. Coach Mackey is a defensive specialist and will bring a tenacious style of play to the Men’s program.
