Some "dirt" I’ve heard from a a few small colleges….

I’ve heard that Union College (NY) assistant Mike Smiley is involved with a spot at LeMoyne. Smiley has also been an assistant at Babson, and played in two NCAA tournaments while at Holy Cross. It also sounds like Wendell Capeheart will be hired as the part-time assistant at Union. Capeheart was the administrative assistant on Cliff Ellis’ staff at Coastal Carolina last season.

Suffolk University assistant Jack Barrett has accepted a similar position on Jim O’Brien’s staff at Emerson College. Word on the street is that former Brandeis standout Terrell Hollins will replace Barrett at Suffolk. Hollins was the JV coach at Lexington (MA) HS last season, and also works with the Boston Warriors AAU.

Nick Brady will be hired as an assistant at Messiah. He was a standout at York College and played professionally in Iceland last season.
