Some things I’ve heard at a few small colleges…
• I have heard that Lincoln Memorial University (TN) assistant coach Chris Cottrell will become the next head coach at Davis & Elkins (WV). Cottrell had been at LMU for the past five seasons and has also worked as a GA at High Point.
• Some names that I’ve heard surrounding the opening at Fredonia State (NY)….. former SUNY New Paltz head coach Dagan Nelson, former Hamline and SUNY Brockport head coach Nelson Whitmore, Mt. St. Mary head coach Ryan Kadlubowski, and SUNY Plattsburgh associate head coach Cameron Conover.
• Another NY opening…some names that are bouncing around surrounding the job at LIU Post…former Hofstra assistant Steve DeMeo, former FDU head coach Greg “Shoes” Vetrone, Iona DBO Garee Bryant (a LIU Post alum), St. Francis (NY) assistant Andy Johnston, and former Rutgers staffer Josh Loeffler.
