Saginaw Valley State University men’s basketball coach Frankie Smith announced his resignation today after five seasons.

Smith’s Cardinal teams posted a 60-73 overall record and a 44-56 mark in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference during his tenure.
