St. Joe’s Men’s Basketball Staff Update

Transitioning through an unprecedented spring and summer, St. Joseph’s University head coach Billy Lange commented on his entire staff and released updated bios on all members.

“The collective effort of our entire staff during the last five months has been inspiring. Despite challenging circumstances, there has been a growth, a maturity, a sense of purpose, and deeper connection to Hawk Hill, each other, and our team members. Personally, I am blessed for such faith, support and commitment,” said Lange.

In addition, Lange promoted John Griffin III to associate head coach.

“We are proud to promote John to associate head coach. We hired John with the confidence that he could assume this critical role to our infrastructure. Overall, our staff has an inherent energy, creativity and resilience, and John’s experience has helped guide, advise, and lead with a bold and servant attitude. His passion and respect for our University and program elevates his peers and our team members.”

Also, the staff welcomes Andrew Lutes as a graduate manager where he will serve in a variety of roles for the program. A former manager for the program, Lutes will focus on the statistical and analytical elements of the team.
