D2 St. Michael’s College has promoted Evan Conti to Associate Head Coach, and added John Salivonchik as an assistant coach.

Conti is the former head coach at New York Institute of Technology, and was hired as the Saint Michael’s men’s basketball program’s full-time assistant coach in July 2021. A 2015 graduate of Quinnipiac University with a degree in communications, Conti appeared in 121 career games, making 42 starts, after being recruited by current Saint Michael’s head coach Eric Eaton, then a Quinnipiac assistant coach. 

Salivonchik had spent the past four seasons as an assistant coach at D3 Western New England University. He is also a Quinnipiac alum, who served as a student manager with the Bobcats from 2015-19. Salivonchik has spent time summer working as a Recruiting Coordinator for the Hoop Group.
