Stark Named Graduate Assistant at Stevenson

Stevenson men’s basketball coach Gary Stewart announced that Andy Stark will join the Mustangs bench for the 2015-16 season, serving as the team’s graduate assistant. Stark will begin his duties at the end of August.

Stark last served as the head student assistant at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure University. While with the Bonnies, he helped lead them to their first-ever A-10 Conference championship title during the 2011-12 season, while advancing to the NCAA Tournament Second Round.

While at St. Bonaventure, Stark helped mentor Andrew Nicholson, the 2012 A-10 Player of the Year and AP Honorable Mention All-American. Nicholson was selected by the Orlando Magic in the first round (No. 19 overall) of the 2012 NBA Draft.

In addition to his responsibilities at St. Bonaventure, Stark has also worked for The Hoop Group, where he served as Head Runner (2011-14) and Elite Team Camp Director (2015).
