UNY Potsdam men’s basketball coach Sherry Dobbs has named Timothy Helms to the Bears assistant men’s basketball coaching staff for the 2013-14 season.

Helms served as a volunteer assistant coach for two seasons from 2011-2013.

Prior to Potsdam, Helms was head basketball coach at Humboldt High School and for the Hillcrest Recreational Center in St. Paul, Minn., from 2009-2010.
