Sean Tabb, the former head coach at Trinity College and assistant coach at Brown, has been named an assistant men’s basketball coach at Brown in an announcement made by Bears’ head coach Mike Martin.

"Sean is a familiar name to those around our program and I am thrilled to have him back at Brown. He brings great experience, energy, and basketball acumen to our staff. He is an excellent addition and we will all benefit greatly from Sean being at Brown."
Tabb led Trinity to the NESCAC Championship Tournament in each of his two seasons as interim head coach at Hartford, from 2009-2011. He was an assistant coach at Trinity for nine years prior to the 2008-09 season,
A 1999 graduate of the University of Hartford, Tabb earned a bachelor’s degree in education, and was a standout on the basketball team, being named team captain in his senior season. He went on to earn a master’s degree in sports leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University.
