#2 Purdue (4-0) Head coach Matt Painter won his 500th career game with a 97-79 win over Akron on Sunday. Painter, in his 22nd season as a head coach (25 wins at Southern Illinois; 475 at Purdue), becomes the 16th active head coach with 500 wins.
