I have now heard from two separate sources on the search to replace Mike Bargen at Butler CC (KS).  It sounds like BCC is down to three candidates to take over for Bargen who became an assistant at Bradley earlier this spring.  The finalists are: Brian Barone – Former Associate Head Coach UW-Green Bay.

HoopDirt.com can confirm that Butler Community College (KS) head coach Mike Bargen will join Brian Wardle’s staff at Bradley.  Bargen has been the head coach at BCC for the past nine seasons – his team went 29-4 this past season.  He and Wardle were teammates at Marquette in 1999.  Bargen also worked for Dana Altman
