Huntingdon College has announced that David Gurganus has resigned from his position as head men’s basketball coach. “Coach Gurganus invested a lot of time, energy, effort, and mentorship into our student-athletes and the program as a whole.” commented Athletic Director Eric Levanda. “We wish him the best in his future endeavors.” Gurganus went 28-62 (.311)

Semling out at D3 Wisconsin-Stevens Point

The UW-Stevens Point Athletics department will be making a change in the leadership of its men’s basketball program. The change will be the first for the program since Hall of Fame coach Jack Bennett retired in 2005. The Pointers had been a perennial power in the WIAC and the nation, including a national championship in 2015.
