The search at Tennessee Chattanooga is in full swing right now. According to multiple reports and sources, the consensus top five is believed to be:

• John Brannen – Assistant coach Alabama. Has worked for Anthony Grant at both Alabama and VCU. He has been at Alabama since 2009. Also worked at St. Bonaventure and Eastern Kentucky.

• Dennis Felton –Former head coach Georgia and Western Kentucky. Has a 184-145 career record in 11 seasons as a DI head coach. Was also an assistant at Clemson, Providence, St. Joe’s, Tulane, and Delaware.

• Eric Konkol – Assistant coach Miami (FL). Has been at Miami for the past two seasons. Also worked for Jim Larranaga at George Mason and spent time as an assistant at Tulsa.

• Dwayne Stephens – Associate head coach Michigan State. He is a Michigan State alum who has worked for Tom Izzo for the past ten seasons. His name has come up surrounding a bunch of searches over the past few years. Also worked for Tom Crean at Marquette.

• Will Wade – Assistant coach VCU. Has been on Shaka Smart’s staff since 2009. Has also been an assistant at Harvard and was the DBO at Clemson before that. He definitely has some solid connections with new ETSU AD David Blackburn.
