In today’s Daily Dirt, I mentioned that Terry Evans was involved at Southwestern Oklahoma State. I have now heard that he is in fact the choice, and will become the next head basketball coach at the school. **UPDATE: The story is also confirmed by NewsOK – Link HERE**

Evans had spent the past two seasons as the head coach at Edmond North (OK) HS. Before that, he served as the head coach at Central Oklahoma where he went 263-124 in thirteen years.

He will replace Bob Battisti who resigned from his post back in mid-December.

An official announcement is expected shortly.
