Texas Tech has named Biily Gillispie head coach. The official hiring announcement will come on Wednesday morning (10:00am) at a public news conference at the United Spirit Arena. Gillispie becomes the 14th head coach in school history and replaces Pat Knight, who was relieved of his duties on March 7. Texas Tech and Gillispie have agreed to a five-year contract.
