Here are a couple things that I picked up while out with some other coaches watching the tourney games….

A bunch of names have surfaced with the UL-Lafayette job. Carr Sports Associates is handling the search – the names being bounced around are:

Bob Marlin – Sam Houston State Head Coach

Danny Kaspar – Stephen F. Austin Head Coach

Joe Pasternack – Univ. of New Orleans Head Coach

Tim Floyd – New Orleans Hornets Assistant

Butch Pierre – Oklahoma State Associate Head Coach

Former Iowa coach Todd Lickliter is positioning himself to make a run at the Toledo job. Other names I’ve heard include Lehigh Head Coach Brett Reed and Ohio State assistant Jeff Boals and Southern Indiana Head Coach Rodney Watson.

Two names that I’ve heard to replace Greg White at Charleston (WVa.) are West Virginia Director of Ops Jerrod Calhoun, and Arkansas Tech Head Coach Mark Downey (a UC alum). Also expect current Charleston assistant Todd Baxter to be in the mix.
