There are a ton of rumors swirling about what lies ahead for Providence head coach Keno Davis. I’ve heard from a bunch of people that the administration at PC is meeting in the next few days to decide what direction they want to go. Davis was the National Coach of the Year in 2007-2008 – his first season as a head coach at Drake (28-5), but hasn’t had the same success at Providence. He is 46-50 in his 3 seasons with the Friars, and has had some well documented off the court player issues. There were also rumors yesterday that Davis may be looking to get out before the posse comes and gets him. Either way, I would expect to hear something shortly.
