Davis & Elkins Men’s Basketball head coach, Daniel Mondragon announced the addition of Ryan Thomas to the Senators’ coaching staff.

Thomas comes to the Senators after spending the past six seasons under head coach Dan D’Antoni at Marshall University. The New Haven, W.Va. native spent four years as a manager for the Herd as and undergraduate and two seasons as a graduate assistant. In his graduate assistant role, Thomas assisted in many facets of the Marshall program, including scouting, individual workouts, operations, and film breakdown.

“I am very excited to add Ryan to our staff,” said Mondragon. “He will bring great energy, work ethic, and all his experience working under Dan D’Antoni and the Marshall program. This will continue to push our program and our staff forward and will enhance our student-athlete experience. His hiring shows the growth that our program is undergoing in all areas.” 

Thomas joins Mondragon and assistant Daniel Harris to round out the Senators coaching staff.
