Former Iona head coach has landed as the special assistant to the head coach at South Florida. The Bulls made the announcement on social media tonight:
Anderson, who spent the past two seasons as the head coach at Iona, went 17-17 (12-8 MAAC) this season and he put together a 33-34 (.493) overall mark with the Gaels. Prior to Iona, the veteran head coach led FDU to a 21-16 record in his only season there in 2023, which included an upset of #1 Purdue in the NCAA Tournament.
Anderson also served as the head coach at D2 St. Thomas Aquinas, where he went 209-62 (.771) from 2013-22, and also led programs at D3’s Clarkson and Hamilton.
